Taylor began her journey on YouTube initially creating ASMR videos with her mobile. PewDiePie also featured her in an online gaming video shortly after she hit 50,000 subs about 1 1/2months after uploading the initial video. Taylor's Youtube channel surpassed 100,000 subscribers within two weeks. Taylor ceased to produce videos and put them on the internet in private. She cited technical problems, equipment issues, and also she became overwhelmed by her popularity. After August 2022, and taking a break of a few months, Taylor began to create videos, such as the ASMR 10 sleep triggers (35 million hits). In July 2017, she released another very popular video ASMR 20 Triggers to Help to To Sleep (38 million views by August 2022). In August of 2017, she was interviewed for a Shane Dawson's video. Shortly after, she was able to reach 1 million YouTube subscribers. Wired UK reported that in February 2019 she earned $1,000 per day through advertisements on her YouTube channel.

Helfer was born in rural Donalda, Alberta, Canada and was the daughter of Dennis Elaine and Dennis Elaine Helfer. The couple is of German and English heritage. She attended William E. Hay Composite High School located in Stettler. Three sisters she shared with were raised on their family's grain farm. She was 17 when the agent of her modeling agency spotted her while in line waiting at a theater.
